The MANU-HIT POLLEX stabilizes the wrist and thumb while limiting their range of motion. The stabilization splint bar integrated into the orthesis in a inside and outside of the hand position and the aluminium insert at the thumb facilitate this. This decreases stress on the carpal bones, joint capsules and ligaments.
The inside of the hand reinforcement is anatomically shaped to stabilize the hand and can be adapted to suit individual needs.
An additional circular non-elastic band completes the stabilization of the wrist. The thumb is partially immobilised in a functional position
