Foot Strap
- Plantar Fasciitis
If you have pain in the heel area during the first steps in the morning, there is likely to be an inflammation of the plantar fascia, medically known as plantar fasciitis. It is an inflammation of the strong, thick, fibrous tissue that connects the heel bone and the front of the feet. The plantar fascia helps maintain the arch of the foot and distributes the loads while walking or running. Overload or trauma causes inflammation and pain in the fascia.
A new, convenient and quick pain reducing tool has been developed to treat this condition. It is made using a very thin adhesive tape that is non-allergenic and does not contain latex.
This foot fascia strap fits any foot shape. It holds the foot arch firmly while allowing free movement. This tape reduces the over pressure of the fascia and relieves pain instantly. This remedy can significantly or completely reduce foot pain.
The tape is comfortable to use both day and night. It will not come off while showering. Usually the tape stays on for 3-5 days, it is recommended to replace it every 5 days. For treatment of plantar fasciitis, this remedy should be used 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. The treatment usually lasts for 6 to 8 weeks or until the pain has completely stopped.
(see the second photo for instruction on how to apply the tape)
Warning! People with sensitive skin may experience localized abrasions and skin sensitization using the foot fascia.
