Insole after partial foot amputation
- after partial foot amputation.
After partial foot amputation, it is often difficult for people to move independently as the foot rest area decreases, imbalance is formed, and the gait becomes irregular. Changing gait can also affect other joints, such as the knee, hip and spine, and cause deformations - these areas becomes painful. To minimize the consequences of amputation, special insoles are made to wear after partial foot amputation. Depending on the structure of your foot, the leg is imprinted and a lightweight but sturdy insole is formed, which already has artificially formed foot arches to ensure the most stable and comfortable gait, and to halt the damage of other joints. The size of the insole is as close as possible to the whole foot, so it can be worn with simple daily footwear.
