DPĮ-PIP
The low-temperature plastic is used to make this splint, and splints made of this plastic accurately replicate body contours, are lightweight, durable, non-toxic and, at the same time, permeable to X-rays. Custom-made finger splint is for flexion and extension of the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) joint. The splint blocks the finger from turning sideways, but allows flexion through the joint. Immobilizes very well.
