This is a modern design silicone deformed thumb protection used to reduce the pain and discomfort caused by Hallux valgus. Hallux valgus is a deformity of the joint connecting the big toe to the foot. Later, the pain progresses, and the finger moves more sideways , often deforming the joints of other fingers. This thumb guard wraps the popping bone, protects against friction and squeezing, reducing pain, discomfort and preventing major deformities. The silicone pad is thin and comfortable to wear in any shoe.
