Dynamic finger splint

The dynamic finger splint has a high straightening force. This force can be adjusted by pressing the splint pads one toward the other carefully. The cushion on the top of the finger distributes the force of pressure, while the cushion below slightly induce finger flexion through the metacarpophalangeal (MCP) joint. When the PIP joint is bent at 15 degrees, this force is approximately 3,4 N.
